Integrative care for the whole person
Tanglewood Collective was created to bring together mental health providers who believe care should meet people where they are, with space for nuance, complexity, and growth.
We’re grounded in the idea that healing is not about erasing the past, but learning to understand it. Our work honors every part of you - the seen and unseen, the strength and the struggle - so you can build a relationship with yourself that feels more whole and sustainable.
Our Mission
To offer inclusive, integrative mental health care that respects both science and the human spirit.
We believe therapy and psychiatry work best when they’re rooted in connection between mind and body, past and present, who you are and who you’re becoming.
Our Founders
Shannon Darling, PMHNP, and Gail White, LPC, LAC, NMIT
What began as a shared idea between two colleagues has grown into a collective grounded in curiosity, respect, and connection. Shannon and Gail built Tanglewood Collective around the belief that healing happens through relationships - between provider and client, between science and intuition, and within each person’s own story.
Their combined experience in clinical practice, supervision, and leadership gives the collective both structure and soul. Together, they’ve created an environment where providers can do their best work and clients can feel genuinely supported in theirs.
The Collective
A community built on connection
Tanglewood is more than a mental health practice. It’s a collective of clinicians who believe care is most effective when it’s collaborative, reflective, and grounded in real connection.
Integrative
Our providers draw from a range of disciplines and perspectives, creating care that sees the whole person’s mind, body, and experience. We believe real healing comes from understanding how all parts of your story connect.
Inclusive
Every client and clinician belongs here. We honor the individuality of each person and the diverse backgrounds, identities, and perspectives that make our community stronger.
Human
At the core of our work is compassion. We approach care with honesty, warmth, and respect, creating space for people to feel seen, supported, and empowered in their process.
