Psychedelic Integration Services
the experience opened something. now what?
Psychedelic integration therapy helps you make sense of, and build on, experiences with psilocybin, ayahuasca, MDMA, or other substances, whether they happened in a clinical setting or not.
Psychedelic experiences can be profound, confusing, destabilizing, or all three at once. Without proper integration, insights tend to fade or remain disconnected from daily life. With the right support, they can become a genuine turning point.
Psychedelic integration therapy at Tanglewood is not about facilitating or encouraging illegal activity. It's about meeting you where you are after an experience has already occurred, or after a legal clinical experience, and helping you integrate what emerged into your life, relationships, sense of self, and ongoing healing.
Our providers understand the phenomenology of psychedelic states, including common experiences like ego dissolution, mystical states, difficult trips, relational insights, and somatic releases, and they bring that understanding to the therapeutic frame without judgment.
Who This is For
People who have had significant experiences with psychedelics (in clinical trials, legal wellness contexts, or otherwise) and want support making meaning of what arose. People preparing for a legal psychedelic experience and wanting to approach it with intention. People who feel that an experience changed something in them but aren't sure how to carry it forward.
What to Expect
Integration therapy often begins with a thorough account of the experience itself: what happened, what it felt like, and what you've been sitting with since. From there, your provider will help you connect themes from the experience to your broader therapeutic work and daily life. This is not rapid-cycle work; integration unfolds over time.
